TSF 37: Jane Taylor – Millinery Designer

London based milliner Jane Taylor has rapidly caught the attention of the British press with her distinctive hand crafted headwear. The Duchess of Cambridge wore two of Jane Taylor’s hats during the Queens Diamond Jubilee celebrations and most recently for Princess Charlotte’s christening. Tim Walker’s shoot for Love Magazine starring Kate Moss, and styled by Katie Grand, featured a Jane Taylor hat.

If you had a 25th hour each day, what would you do?
I would actually get time to read a book in bed / meditate for an hour or use the steam room at my gym.

My family homes garden in the summer – flowers and the smell of warm tomato plants in my greenhouse.

All sorts! I found a thimble in my bag yesterday….often pins and feathers that have found their way in there.

Any cuisines you love or loathe?
Not a fan of meat so I find Oriental cuisines the best as they use a lot of Tofu.

I focused on my goal and made it happen. Loving my job really helped when having to work long hours to progress.

Don’t stress, life will take you wherever you need to go.
