Which living person do you most admire?
I can’t choose only one person but two… and they are my parents. I admire everything they are about, how hard they work, what they stand for and everything they have taught me.
Which words or phrases do you most overuse?
“You are an absolute Badman”and “Tina Turnup”.
When and where were you happiest?
I’m always quite a happy person… I’d have to be very tired or very stressed to not be in a good mood! But a time I always remember being at my happiest is every New Years eve wherever I am! It gives me time to reflect on my year, the up’s and down’s and see how far i’ve come and what i’ve achieved that I said I would and what my new goals for the year are.
Which talent would you most like to have?
I’ve always really wanted to be able to draw. I can’t even draw apples… when I did my homework as a kid i’d press my notebook onto an encyclopedia find the image and trace over it and of course claim that I did it all myself… obviously
If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
I’ve learnt to love myself the way I am. There are so many things I can’t change. I wish I could chill out a bit more when I take something upon myself I make this whole huge deal and I stress out and I’m like a walking hurricane until its all done then I can chill for a bit until the next thing falls into my lap. But that is also a blessing and a curse. Also I am never able to see a single ab no matter what I do or how much I work out… so yeah, that would be nice haha.
What do you consider your greatest achievement?
Dropping New Love. For me that was a huge deal. Finally being able to put out a piece of work that I can actually call my own. But I think as things go on I feel every step in what i’m doing will always feel to me like a greater achievement, especially when it involves putting out a new track or new visuals.
Where would you most like to live?
I live in London and it’s my favourite place in the world! I wanna live here forever. But if I had to choose somewhere else then it would have to be NYC. Thats my second favourite place
What is your most treasured possession?
I have a small four leaf clover on a necklace which I wear nearly everyday which belonged to my grandmother. I never got to meet her as she passed away before I was born but I was given my name because of her. So I get to keep a piece of her with me everyday
What is your favorite occupation?
Being a musician! Singing and songwriting is the best therapy for me. I wouldn’t want to change what I do for the world.
What is your most marked characteristic?
I think i’m a bit outspoken. I say some things without thinking which can sometimes can get me into trouble but i’m not obnoxious or anything like that, I just like to have my say and to be heard. I’m always very careful to not come across as rude as that is never my intention. I just say what I feel and what is true to myself.
What do you most value in your friends?
Honesty and trust 100%
Who are your favourite writers?
I dont actually have a favourite. It changes with age. I love loads of books and loads of different authors! I’m really into horror and thriller reads, so you’d probably catch me reading a Stephen King novel but I’ve also recently read Widow Basquiat by Jennifer Clement which has become my new obsession! I want to read it over and over again
Who is your hero of fiction?
Who should feature next as a Three Six Fiver?
What should people look out for?
You should check out my song NEW LOVE which I wrote with Andrew Wyatt and is produced by Emile Haynie. You can find it on Spotify, Itunes and Youtube.
